this year there will also be a category for riders on geared bikes. the winners will get… one spokecard, a little bit of glory, and very sore.

Monroe and Tharpe streets are no longer blocked, according to the Tallahassee Police Department.
The intersection was closed after a crash about 9:30 a.m. today between a bicyclist and truck.
The bicyclist was heading south on a sidewalk along Monroe Street. A Toyota pickup truck was leaving Ole Times Country Buffet to head north on Monroe Street when it hit the bicyclist.
The bicyclist was dragged about 100 feet, said Travis Bergeron, a police investigator. The bicyclist, a man in his 20s, was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. Officials don’t know his condition.
